Lùib a chèile is a film that examines the machair and common grazings in bragar on the Westside of Lewis. it upholds the cultivation of the machair and the symbiotic network of life there as a tangible microcosm in which to explore and communicate ideas concerning rootedness/ “dùthchas”, common land, the entangled heritage of humans and nature and Gaelic as a language that holds memories of the land.
